’90s Retro Review – Zoom Fire 7010 Guitar Amp and Effects Processor!

Today we’re going to take an in-depth look at a forgotten and weird piece of guitar effects gear from the 1990s, the Zoom Fire 7010. In the ‘90s Zoom was on the forefront of bringing guitar effects to the masses, with a whole host of affordable multi-effects units. And it appears that the engineers at Zoom were in full-on experimentation mode with the development of the Fire 7010. It looks like it is more at home on a desk with some 1980s computer peripherals than it would be near any sort of musical instrument. In this video we’ll take a look at the strange form factor, and plug it in to hear what this forgotten tabletop guitar effects device sounds like almost 30 years later.
